Hi everyone! Long time no chat!
So things have been soooo busy. I have been working long hours already and going to parks and hanging out with my roomies but I figured that it was time to update you all just a little bit!
My parents, my twin and I started our adventure at 5:30 am on January 18th with two packed cars and not that much sleep! We had to say our goodbyes to my older sister that was not short of tears.. at least from me. We headed out and started out 30 hour journey! Along the way, my parents drove most of it and my sister and I only drove 2 hours of the whole trip. We would get the hotels as late as 9:00 and fall asleep super fast. We would wake up at 4:30 am and start all over again. There were a couple of storms that came up but we would either be ahead of it or behind it and didn't have too much of a problem!
The day of check-in I was so nervous! We had received our itinerary and what housing we would be in and all that was left to do was go to check in and meet my new roommates! My sister's check in was earlier than mine so she got to do everything before me. We went into the apartment and got did a happy dance that we had an 4 bedroom 8 person apartment which meant that we would potentially have the roommates we requested! We helped Megan get semi unpacked and then she left to take her housekeeping test! I went to my check in and met up with some of my roommates Chrissy, Kelly, Sarah and Jessica! We didn't know officially if we were roommates at that point but we were pretty hopeful! We went up to the building and received our program guide that had confirmed that we were all in the same apartment! WOO YEAH! THANK YOU DISNEY HOUSING! We all went into the room and sat and waited to get our I.D. taken. It definitely felt like a DMV style waiting where we just had to sit until we were called up but since my roommates were there with me I was pretty content! I went up and smiled my best smile and as always my I.D. made me look like a weirdo but its all good! I went to the line with the computers and completed my check in process and got my communicator that would tell me of all the events coming up that I could possibly attend.
My next stop since I had brought a car was to go to the vehicle decal section to pick up my repurchased decal! This line was not as exciting because I just wanted to get to the apartment and start unpacking my things! I went up and got my decal and then moved my car to my building that would be my new home. My new roommates are Tori, Christina, Whitney, Sarah, Jessica, Kelly and Megan and I couldn't be more happy and excited! We all met on Facebook and were not able to fully link up with everyone but we emailed housing and then we were lucky and fortunate enough to be placed all together!
The rest of the day we just kind of hung out together and bonded!
Im tired so thats all for now! hahah!
See ya real soon,

I am going to the Disney College Program Spring 2017! I am super excited and I thought this would be a good way for other people that are interested to learn more about it and also see what my life looks like while I am there! WOO!

Closer and Closer
Oh my goodness!
Its almost time for me to go to Disney and work for 4 months! WHAT?!?
I have so many emotions about this new transition for me. I am extremely excited but I definitely feel nervous and scared! Which is completely okay! Something that is really necessary is that I had to get my car serviced before we left. Its something that for us driving for so long HAS to happen. My car is still in the shop right now and so far it is going to cost $2,400. Its hard to spend that much money but I know I will be 100% grateful that I did. Better safe than sorry!
This will be my first time moving out of my house and living on my own. However, I will get to have my wonderful twin with me and that helps me with feeling homesick and scared! We haven't started packing too much which is probably not the best thing but we still have a week and a half before we leave for our long road trip. I am the type of person that doesn't really procrastinate but when it comes to packing, I find it really fun to wait for a couple days before and then pack. It makes it more fun in a way. YES. Very stressful, but fun.
I don't have too much to update you all on, but soon I will have too much to write! haha!
I'm gonna go now because I am just babbling.
BYE!
