Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my Disney College Program blog! I just got accepted today for Merchandise at Walt Disney World! WOO! I am so excited!! My twin sister Megan also applied and she got accepted as well for Housekeeping! This is going to be such a crazy journey but we are excited to jump on the crazy journey train!
I decided to create a blog so that my family and friends can keep up with what I have been up to while I am out at Disney living my dream! I plan to try to blog as much as I can about whats going on and also writing about the process of applying before I leave!
Disney is something that I have always wanted to be a part of. I love the company and I am so excited to be a part of something so special! I get to make each other people's days and give them magical moments! Who wouldn't want to do that!?
To start this blog out, I am going to tell you a little bit about myself for the people that are just now meeting me!
First off, hello, welcome!
My name is M'lyn Miller and if you are wondering where I got this name it is from the wonderful movie, Steel Magnolias! Sally Field is such a gem and I am so thankful to be named after her character! I am a junior right now in college and I am just ready to get out there and experience life! I go to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and I am getting my degree in Communication Studies! I started out as a Business major but there was a lot of math involved and math and I are not on speaking terms right now. So I decided that the Communication aspect of business was what I liked more and I am so glad I made that choice! I am also a Dance minor and it has been such a crazy eventful journey going for that! There are so many times where I have challenges with a new thing we are learning and I just want to stop but I won't because quitting is not good! I have a twin sister like I mentioned above and she is so cute! We are different in a lot of ways but we are always there for each other through everything! I have an older sister that is a super senior and about to graduate! She is going to have a hard time with us leaving but it will all work out. That's what phones are for! haha!
I work at the university at the Graduate School so if you are wanting to get a masters or PHD let me know! haha! I also work at a dance studio and I love it!! I have one student and she is the cutest little bean on the planet! Its been more rewarding than I ever thought it would be!
I love to dance! It is my outlet and the thing that I love to do more than anything. I will literally put my headphones in and dance right in the kitchen if I find a good song for me to dance to! haha!
I love to watch movies and watch Netflix! If you don't know where I am, I am probably on Netflix!
